Based in Sheffield UK, Leon Atter is the owner and engineer at Bespoke Audio Mastering. Leon has over 30 years experience working in the music industry alongside 10 years of teaching music technology at Red Tape Studios in Sheffield.


Leon has mixed and mastered vinyl and digital releases from Iggy Pop (Godfather of Punk), The Last Poets (Godfathers of Hip Hop), Omar, Dego (4-Hero), Plaid, The Moody Boyz, Kaidi Tatham, DJ Food, Pan Amsterdam, Steve Edwards, Thatmanmonkz, Mala, I.G. Culture, Stephen Malinder (Cabaret Voltaire/Wrangler), Madison Washington, Appleblim, NAD, Afronaut and EVM128 to name but a few.


In his digital mastering suite, Leon uses award winning studio technology from RME, Genelec, Steinberg, Universal Audio, Plugin Alliance and Softube to achieve the highest standards of audio fidelity and well...‘Mojo!’ when working on your projects.


Leon is also a record producer and DJ with releases on 7 Hills Clash, Formation Records, Just Create, More About Music, Dogmatik Records, Paper Plates, Studio Rockers, Reid and Wright, CoOp Presents and Dance Regular.


Leon's music has been played on BBC Radio1, BBC Radio1Xtra and BBC Radio 6 throughout his career and has gained club support from DJ's Xpress-2, Fabio and Grooverider, Oliver $, Tom Findlay (Groove Armada), Oris Jay, Mr G, Gerd, Doc Martin, Maya Jane Coles, Darius Syrossian, I.G. Culture, Audiojack, Murder He Wrote, EVM128, Jeremy Sylvester, Afronaught and Simbad amongst many others.
